FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What kind of work do you do?

My work focuses primarily on portraits, couples, weddings, & families. I also love maternity, births, newborn, nature & wildlife photography.

My other creations consist of stickers, prints, calendars, poetry, & more. Available soon!

Where are you located? Do you travel?

Located in the Spokane, Washington area, also known as the Inland Northwest. We love taking on clients from all over this area, & would be more than willing to travel should the opportunity arise! Anything more than an 100+ miles of traveling does require varying travel costs to cover gas, lodging, food, & time.

What does your availability look like?

Currently booking for 2025! Availability is limited, so don’t hesitate to reach out.

What if I don’t see the type of package or service I’m looking for?

Send us a message! We would be happy to customize a package for you, or send you in the right direction.

Do you have an assistant/second-shooter?

Yes. My husband, Ian, attends most sessions with me, serving as both assistant & second-shooter. He is there at no additional cost to you, making sure every beautiful moment is captured.

What does the cost of service go toward?

The cost for all services goes toward our work, our efforts, necessary equipment (cameras, lenses, tripods, memory cards, batteries, chargers, hard drives, editing software, applications, subscriptions, flash drives, mail, office supplies, & more), content creation (creating the photos, videos, content or other art), & our time (time it takes for the shoot; time it takes to edit; time it takes to create), business expenses, & travel.

Is there a booking fee?

Right now, all services are subject to a $50 (+tax) booking/retaining fee, which is factored into your final cost.

Are there payment plans available?

Yes, payment plans are available. We are incredibly flexible with payment, as long as it is due in full by the time of service or whatever is contractually agreed upon. We accept payment via Honeybook portal, cash, check, Venmo, Facebook pay, & Zelle at the moment.

Do prices ever change?

All prices are negotiable & do fluctuate. As skill increases, prices will, too. However, it is always important to us to be flexible & accommodating where we are able. Let us know your budget, & we can work together to create a customized package that works best for everyone, or send you in the right direction.

How long does it take to return the final product?

Depending on the season & the project, I typically deliver projects online within 3-20 weeks. PLEASE NOTE: While I have an assistant who attends your photoshoot with me, I am the only person who works on your pictures once we leave your session. There are typically several thousand to sort through, & chances are high that I have other galleries I am working on before I get to yours. I have several chronic illnesses & can’t always accurately predict when a gallery will be completed due to the unpredictable nature of my health, hence the wide range of time it may take to deliver. But I can assure you: I am working hard at every gallery, taking my time to ensure that it is perfectly curated for you & your story. The wait is well worth it.

How does being chronically ill impact your work?

Full transparency, I have a lot of conditions that I live with: Mixed Connective Tissue Disease, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (Dysautonomia), Hyper-mobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Epilepsy, Endometriosis, & Fibromyalgia. Of course, these conditions greatly affect my life, but as you can hopefully also see through my work, they do not stop me! For the several years that I have been battling these illnesses & working photography, I have been able to find a beautiful balance. I am lucky to have an amazing support system, wonderful healthcare team & treatment plan that allows me to work & remain reliable. I have never had to cancel a session or event due to my illnesses, & in the event that this did ever have to happen, rest assured another photographer would fulfill all contracted duties & services. Typically, the most impact my conditions have is delaying delivery schedules & exceeding anticipated deadlines. In the case that this does ever happen, I remain in communication with clients & can assure that I am working hard to finish galleries, while also prioritizing my health.
